Christmas donation to the food bank Siegener Tafel

This is why, we do not want to express our thanks by giving expensive presents to our customers but by making donations to those who need them the most: People in our society who are not able to provide for sufficient food from their own means.
The association Siegener Tafel e.V. supports these people by means of food donations. Missing storage capacities impeded calls for donations of non-perishable food as well as the receipt of large donations. Thanks to the sponsorship by the German state North Rhine-Westphalia and many donations, two freezer containers were installed on the spot which are also used as a distribution centre for the neighbouring food banks. Now, even big donations, e.g. up to 46 euro pallets, can be accepted and stored.
Marc Rieser (Managing Director, VETTER Krantechnik GmbH) and Oliver Weirich (Head of Human Resources and Finance, VETTER Holding AG) handed our donation of € 2.500 over to Roswitha Junak-Mößner (1. Chairman of Siegener Tafel) on 02 December 2020. It is intended to be our contribution to the solidarity shown by the food bank with its numerous volunteers.
