At the foundry Pinter Guss in Deggendorf, high-quality cast parts in various designs and alloys are manufactured. Recently, a ROTOMAX® load turning device of our new product line has been commissioned there.
VETTER delivered a 7.5 t ROTOMAX® load turning device of type RVE used for rotating moulding boxes. To this end, the device is attached to an overhead crane similar to a conventional lifting beam. The chains at the load turning device are attached to the outer pins of the moulding boxes (see picture). The crane then lifts the whole unit and the moulding box is rotated safely in the chains. An operator controls the turning manoeuvre using a remote control from a safe distance and can even stop the motion in any position if required. For being able to use the device for different moulding box sizes, the distance between the drive wheels can be adjusted from 1,000 to 4,000 mm.
We offer the entire product range with capacities from 1 to 200 tons, partly even special devices tailored to the conditions on the spot. German employers’ liability insurance companies also support the use of safe load turning devices as proven solution for work process such as these.
